High School Math/Science Teacher/Tutor Wanted

Are you passionate about science and mathematics Do you have a knack for making complex concepts easy to understand We are looking for a versatile and dedicated STEM Tutor to join our teamatEdmonton Callingwood. You will be helping students from Grade 7 through Grade 12 build confidence and achieve academic excellence across a broad range of subjects.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction in chemistry biology physics Calculus statistics and general math.
• Adapt teaching methods to meet the individual learning styles of students.
• Simplify complex theories and formulas into digestible lessons.
• Help students prepare for exams diploma tests and daily assignments.

Schedule & Availability

We are looking for a candidate who can commit to the following weekly schedule as needed:

• Monday to Friday: 3:00 PM 8:00 PM

• Saturdays: 10:00 AM 4:00 PM

Qualifications

• Education: Current university/college student or a graduate of a post-secondary program.

• Subject Mastery: Strong proficiency in high school level sciences (bio/chem/phys) and mathematics (Calculus/statistics).

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Asset: Previous experience in tutoring or teaching is highly preferred.

• Requirement: A clear Criminal Record Check (with Vulnerable Sector Search) will be required upon hire.
