Compensation Range: $65000 up to $80000 annually

Position Summary:

Arrow Machine and Fabrication Group is a growing company specializing in precision machining and fabrication in Off-Road Engineered Products and Automotive industries. Our Off-Road Group is looking for an experienced Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting reporting and analysis within one of our facilities. We are looking for someone with keen attention to detail who can successfully multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Management including preparing and posting journal entries performing monthly quarterly & annual closing activities; completing account reconciliations;
• Accounts receivable and payable support
• Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities including assisting with budget and forecast preparation and providing monthly variance analysis to plan
• Weekly analysis of labour hours and costing
• Supporting financial activities for our Engineered Products Division Stratford location
• Submit monthly Government remittances including HST and surveys
• Supporting Facility Management by providing insights to support business decisions and ensuring compliance with accounting standards

Educational Requirements:

Post-secondary education in accounting with a CPA designation is an asset

Required Skills & Expertise:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of ASPE and/or IFRS and accounting principles
• Demonstrated knowledge of computerized Tier 1 or 2 ERP systems implementation experience an asset.
• Advanced-level skill using Microsoft Excel
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self- driven with a focus on independent problem-solving and communication skills
• Self- driven with a focus on independent problem solving and issue resolution
