What youll be doing
As a key member of the Strategic Partnerships team youll play a vital role in supporting the management of a relationship with an external global business partner. Youll identify and evaluate opportunities to grow the partnership and deliver value to CIBC our clients and our partners. By managing the partner relationship youll contribute to strategies aimed at enhancing the client experience and driving revenue growth. Youll assist in planning coordinating and implementing business initiatives and projects. Your focus will be on developing and presenting actionable plans that support business growth optimize profitability improve client satisfaction and increase operational efficiency. Youll collaborate with high-performing diverse teams to ensure the successful delivery of programs that elevate the client experience and help achieve CIBCs revenue objectives.
At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Youll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where youll spend 1-3 days per week on-site while other days will be remote.
How youll succeed
Strategy support Assist in developing and recommending strategic plans by analyzing opportunities and tracking program effectiveness. Leverage analytics and research to report on analyze and optimize our strategic partnerships. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure organizational alignment execute business initiatives complete analysis and contribute to recommendations for growing our existing partner relationships.
Program management Manage projects in partnership with Technology and Business teams that support strategic objectives. Develop business cases outlining costs resource requirements timelines and other key considerations for complex business initiatives. Coordinate project activities and deliverables to ensure successful execution. Work closely with Technology Finance and other stakeholders to prepare and deliver business cases for approved projects. Establish reporting and information management processes to track and manage current and potential partnership opportunities.
Relationship management Act as the main point of contact between CIBC and partners managing all aspects of the relationship. Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders to develop maintain track and report on partner performance. Hold regular check-ins steering committee meetings and updates to review targets key performance indicators (KPIs) and joint business marketing plans. Support contract management and ensure compliance with contractual terms.
