Position Overview:

Job Description:

• Moving equipment in and out of the shop
• Aid mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
• Oil sampling lube and oil changes
• Washing and detailing of equipment
• Assisting field and shop mechanics as required
• General clean up of shop yard field sites parts and machines
• Other General Duties as required

Qualifications:

• Completion of grade 12 and be mechanically inclined
• Valid Drivers License with successful recent driver abstract due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age
• Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 lbs.
• Self-starter able to follow directions assist and work under the direction of a Field Heavy Duty Mechanic and possess the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a safe team environment
• Excellent organizational interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
• Experience working within a heavy equipment maintenance environment basic equipment knowledge along with preventative maintenance experience would be considered assets

Important Information:

• This position is on a 7x7 shift rotation based at our Mildred Lake facility
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
• Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
