Senior Mechanical Engineer Static Equipment

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Stationary Equipment) you will be part of a highperforming engineering team within a matrix organization contributing to complex and innovative nuclear projects that support safe reliable and efficient energy infrastructure.

Your Role

• To develop mechanical equipment technical specifications data sheets tender packages and vendor interfaces.
• To perform mechanical design review sizing and selection of stationary equipment for nuclear steam plants and balanceofplant systems.
• To collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to support plant layouts specifications testing procedures and commissioning plans.
• To provide technical guidance to clients on design operations and maintenance for large nuclear projects.
• To support project execution through progress monitoring manufacturing and commissioning support and design verification reviews.
• To conduct technical meetings prepare detailed reports and perform site inspections and testing activities.
• To assess supplier capabilities review procurement packages and mentor junior and intermediate engineers.

About You

• Ability to apply advanced mechanical engineering expertise in the design and engineering of stationary equipment for complex process or nuclear facilities.
• Proficiency in relevant Canadian and international codes and standards for pressure equipment and nuclear applications.
• Aptitude for leading technical evaluations reviewing engineering documentation and sealing design deliverables as a licensed Professional Engineer.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary engineering and client teams.
• Strong aptitude for technical communication including report writing and client presentations.
