Program Director- Technology Modernization (Banking & Payments)

Position Description:

We are seeking a Program Director to lead large-scale technology modernization initiatives across core banking payments and digital platforms. This role provides strategic direction and delivery oversight for complex programs aligning technology transformation with business objectives across cloud and legacy environments.
Location: Downtown Toronto / Client Office (Hybrid minimum 4 days onsite)

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Lead enterprise-wide modernization programs across banking payments and digital channels
Define program vision roadmaps governance and KPIs
Oversee planning budgeting risk management and delivery execution
Drive cloud adoption legacy modernization and platform simplification
Lead payments initiatives including real-time payments ACH and e Transfer enhancements
Partner with payment networks and vendors to support compliance and regulatory mandates
Engage senior stakeholders and manage executive-level communications
Lead and mentor large cross functional teams; promote Agile and delivery excellence

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

1218 years of technology leadership experience in financial services or large enterprises
Proven success delivering complex transformation programs (payments cloud modernization)
Strong understanding of banking channels and payment ecosystems
Experience managing multi-vendor environments and senior stakeholders
