About the role

Reporting to the Regional Category manager the Specialist Regional Category Management EMEA is responsible for activating programs owning the regional view of the global product portfolio on the following brands Ringers and EDGE

He/She works closely with the Mechanical BU GCMs to coordinate the activationof category management strategies and initiatives (pricing product launch product changes rationalization promotional activities) and supports the implementation of PPM programs into his/her region with the aim to maximize synergies and to optimize the results of each category in both the customer and the Ansells perspective.

Thanks to his/her local market knowledge he/she provides regional perspective to be integrated into the main RINGERS/EDGE global strategy development & enables local activation. He/she understands respective market segment(s) product portfolios customer needs competitive environment and key business/market trends within the region.

The RCM acts as customer facing person within the region marketing for all region-driven marketing needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES & SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • He/she manages and actively drives the overall product lifecycle of the assigned product range / portfolio recommends and ensures execution of improvement / rationalization initiatives of existing products to increase sales and/or profitability and overall operational efficiency.
  • Actively contributes to the global portfolio strategy by providing regional expertise provides key regional supporting data and create the appropriate analysis to support the portfolio strategy and supporting implications.
  • Monitors sales and field reports pricing levels and competition within the region and works in conjunction with regional stakeholders with Regional Marketing teams to deliver agreed levels of revenue margins and overall market share.
  • With GCMS support ensure successful and on time new product launches within the region providing guidance to the development introduction and positioning of new products. Localize launch materials and ensures all tasks related product creation are executed (product set up in systems sample inventories for launch packs etc).
  • Voice of customer (VOC) tests support: VOC support: coordination of samples for VOC to the various regions; follow-up of status and collection & consolidation of surveys/feedbacks. Gathering of samples prices and collaterals from competition and organization of testing of certain features of these competitive products. development of competitive analysis comparatives.
  • Product training Coordinate deployment of product training decks :
  • Support of webinars and trainings
  • Review and regionalize decks
  • Review one-pagers
  • Induction product training
  • Recognized primary point of contact within the region and subject matter expert for all product related matters providing support and education for all stakeholders including Regional Teams key distributors and customers on main Specialty categories- RINGERS/EDGE
  • Actively participates in Regional Sales and Operations Planning and forecasting efforts:
  • Presence at Consensus meetings SUI supply meetings Sales committee alignment call; NPDs demand planning calls
  • Provide NPDs forecasts
  • Assistance of the RCM in administrative tasks.

KEY POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education

  • Bachelor in Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent

Job Experience

  • 3-5 Years experience in Marketing positions
  • Languages: Fluent in at least 2 European languages including English (written & spoken)
  • PC literate: thorough knowledge of PC MS-Office (i.e. Excel PowerPoint Outlook)
  • Knowledge Skills and Competencies:
  • Willingness to learn flexible to adapt and to cope with different tasks simultaneously pro-active independent pragmatic dynamic and enthusiastic structured quality driven and capable to prioritize (with the help of the team of course).
  • Good communication skills team player.

Open to participating in conference calls with global colleagues outside of standard working hours
