Accounts Payable Intern
Job Summary
Join a collaborative Accounts Payable team where you will gain practical experience in daily operations develop your analytical and organizational skills and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of processes.
Meet your future team
You will join a team of eight professionals within the Accounts Payable function based in Warsaw and report to the Team Leader Accounts Payable.
The team works closely together to ensure accurate and timely processing of activities while supporting continuous improvement this role you will be part of a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing and learning are part of everyday work.
What we offer
In this role you will support the Accounts Payable team in daily operations documentation and reporting activities while gaining exposure to key processes and systems.
More specifically your tasks will be to:
Operational support
Support daily document processing activities including handling statements and reminders
Assist with vendor account maintenance and data verification in systems
Monitor shared mailboxes and ensure incoming requests are distributed to the appropriate team members
Documentation & process support
Prepare and update process documentation and work instructions under guidance
Maintain documentation repositories ensuring files are accurate well-structured and up to date
Reporting & data preparation
Collect and prepare data for reports dashboards and KPI overviews
Support the preparation of materials for internal meetings (slides notes summaries)
Continuous improvement
Contribute to improvement initiatives and support data collection for process analysis
Communication & collaboration
Take notes during internal team meetings and operational calls
Learning and development
Develop knowledge of Accounts Payable processes systems and tools (e.g. SAP ServiceNow)
Shadow Accountants during daily operations and participate in internal training sessions
Administrative support
Support the organization of team events workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions
Assist with meeting scheduling agendas and internal trackers
What you will bring
You are currently a student and are looking to gain practical experience in a professional environment.
Moreover we expect that you:
Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when working with data and documentation
Have basic analytical skills and are comfortable working with numbers and simple datasets
Communicate clearly in English and are able to ask questions when needed
Are able to organize your work prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with guidance
Have basic Excel skills (e.g. sorting filtering simple formulas)
Show willingness to learn new systems and tools such as SAP or ServiceNow
Demonstrate curiosity and proactivity in learning
Work well in a team and contribute to a collaborative environment
Take responsibility for your tasks and deliver reliable results
Are adaptable and open to changes in tasks or priorities
Show a problem-solving mindset and support improvement activities
Demonstrate a professional attitude including confidentiality and a service-oriented approach
