About the Role
You will provide strategic and operational leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality safe and effective clinical services that meet relevant organisational and regulatory standards. You will promote recovery-oriented approaches across the continuum of care ensuring services are welcoming inclusive and responsive to the needs of consumers families carers and supporters.
- Lead the implementation of clinical program strategies operational plans and service improvement initiatives across the Older Adult Mental Health program
- Lead key clinical and operational governance processes
- Workforce leadership and management ensuring high standards of clinical practice across the program
- Financial and resource management including overseeing program budgets and financial performance
Classifications for this position will be:
- RPN Grade 6 NP61 ($155490 per annum pro rata)
- Social Worker Grade 6 AJ62 ($161449 per annum pro rata)
- Occupational Therapist Grade 6 AJ16 ($161449 per annum pro rata)
- Psychologist Grade 5 TT16 ($167684 per annum pro rata)
Your Contribution
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience within the healthcare system and the ability to engage and lead a diverse multidisciplinary workforce to deliver high-quality clinical services Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (all disciplines except Social Work)
- A valid Nationally Coordinated Criminal History check or willing to obtain

About the Older Adult Mental Health Service
The Older Adult Mental Health service supports people who are over 65years of age through specialist assessment treatment and case management. It is part of the St Vincents Hospital Mental Health Program which provides high quality recovery-oriented services for adults and older adults in the Cities of Yarra Boroondara and parts of Darebin.
