Are you looking for a new role as a Finance Officer Keen on rewarding career

We are seeking an experienced Finance Officer to join our finance team in community services based at our modern head office location at Wayville. This is a permanent full-time opportunity!

Your background in complex subsidy reconciliations and general accounting services will be essential along with your ability to assist with statutory compliance requirements. Your experience in a similar role in aged care or disability will be an advantage as this role requires providing accounting services to our community services division covering Support at Home and the Commonwealth Home Support Program. Your experience and capabilities will help ensure you are contributing to improving the lives of older people!

Responsibilities will include

  • Statutory reporting requirements
  • Management reporting/reconciliations
  • General accounting services including complete and post monthly standing journals to general ledger
  • Supporting and assisting with Medicare and Department of Veterans Affairs reconciliations

Essential requirements

  • Minimum of three years accounting experience
  • Experience with computerised accounting systems embracing debtors and general ledger
  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs including an advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Experience with complex reconciliations

It would be desirable to have accounting experienced in an aged care setting and/or experience using the AlayaCare software.
