About the role
John Fawkner Private Hospital is seeking enthusiastic and innovative Physiotherapists to join our team on a casual basis to assist with leave cover and periods of increased demand . The successful applicants would be involved in providing physiotherapy services across acute clinical areas including medical oncology general surgical orthopaedics and critical care services.

John Fawkner Private Hospital has a long-established tradition for providing quality healthcare to our local community the veteran community and patients travelling from regional northwest Victoria.
As a Physiotherapist your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive Physiotherapy services to acute services
- Delivering excellent clinical services related to assessment treatment planning and evidence-based practice
- Participating in program development and quality improvement activities within the Allied Health Department
- Working closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients and their support people
- Discharge planning with the multidisciplinary team and referrals to external services
Selection Criteria:
- Bachelor in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years Physiotherapy clinical experience
- Current AHPRA Registration
- Excellent clinical practice skills in assessment and intervention
- Highly developed communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- Commitment to interdisciplinary teamwork
- Weekday availability essential
