Job Summary

Sofitel Brisbane Central is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Conference & Events Sales Manager to lead our Conference and Event team and drive revenue growth across one of Brisbanes most busy and in-demand conference and event destinations.

Renowned for its extensive and versatile event offering Sofitel Brisbane Central features over 2500 square metres of flexible event space including one of Brisbanes largest hotel ballrooms multiple conference rooms and premium meeting facilities. Hosting everything from large-scale conferences and gala dinners to bespoke corporate meetings the hotel is a market leader in the Conference & Events sector.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing this pivotal leadership role will see you develop and execute innovative sales strategies foster strong client relationships and oversee the seamless delivery of conferences and eventsfrom initial enquiry through to event planning.

As a key leader within the Sales and Marketing team and the wider hotel operation you will be responsible for driving performance enhancing productivity and maximising profitability within the Conference & Events sector. You will lead and inspire a high-performing team while ensuring exceptional client experiences that reflect Sofitels luxury brand standards in a fast-paced high-volume environment.


Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in Conference and Events sales within a luxury hotel or hospitality environment
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performing teams
  • Commercially astute with the ability to drive revenue and exceed targets
  • Experience working in a high-volume fast-paced events environment
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences
