About the role

The SAP Technical Consultant provides deep technical expertise across SAP landscapes delivering highquality support enhancements and technical solutions that ensure stable secure and highperforming SAP systems.

This is a handson role responsible for managing SAP technical infrastructure system performance and security across complex onpremise cloud and hybrid environments. You will work across system installations upgrades SAP HANA administration monitoring and troubleshooting while increasingly supporting cloudbased SAP architectures including SAP BTP and hyperscalers such as AWS and Azure.

This role is based in Brisbane with the opportunity to work closely with customers functional consultants and internal technical teams to deliver enhancements upgrades and transformation initiatives that support DyFlexs reputation as a trusted SAP partner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daytoday SAP technical administration and Level 3 support across SAP systems.
• Monitor system health performance and security across OS and database layers.
• Perform detailed technical root cause analysis across data flows authorisations and system configurations.
• Diagnose and resolve issues relating to reports forms interfaces (IDocs APIs) enhancements user exits and background jobs.
• Design develop test and deploy technical fixes to stabilise system performance and prevent recurring issues.
• Plan and execute Support Package Stacks (SPS) Enhancement Packages and system upgrades.
• Administer and optimise SAP HANA and other database platforms.
• Perform OS/DB migrations Unicode conversions and technical upgrades.
• Manage transports patches and system changes across development test and production landscapes.
• Support and manage SAP systems across cloud platforms including AWS Azure and SAP BTP.
• Contribute to onpremise to cloud and SaaS transition initiatives.
• Assist with infrastructure automation and standardisation using tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical requirements and communicate solution options and impacts.
• Maintain accurate and uptodate technical documentation including specifications interface mappings and troubleshooting guides.
• Follow change management and quality assurance processes to ensure system stability.
• Share technical knowledge reusable components and best practices to uplift internal capability.

Qualifications & Experience

• Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science IT Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 7 years handson SAP Basis / technical consulting experience in complex enterprise environments.
• Strong experience across SAP HANA Linux (Red Hat / SUSE) and SAP landscape administration.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP and SAP BTP.
• Proven capability in technical root cause analysis and delivery of sustainable technical solutions.
• Experience supporting or leading onpremise to cloud or SaaS transitions is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers functional teams and delivery partners.
• Highquality documentation and technical writing skills.
