Youllwork with a passionate team gain hands-on outdoor leadership experience and make a real impact on peoples trail time and personal growthall wrapped up in one amazing summer!

WhatYoullDo

• Support and co-lead inclusive outdoor recreation programs (kayaking hiking nature exploration games and more!)
• Encourage participants of all abilities to connect with nature and build confidence outdoors
• Help with program setup equipment care and basic admin tasks
• Work alongside staff volunteers and community partners to make every program safe fun and empowering

Who You Are

• Enthusiastic inclusive and ready to learn
• Love being outdoors and enjoy helping others experience it
• A good communicator and team player
• Comfortable with light physical activity (like moving kayaks or hiking short distances)

Nice to have (but notrequired):

• Experience working with kids youth or people with disabilities
• First Aid and CPR

Need to have(required)

• Clear Criminal Record we will runthe criminalrecord check
• Proof ofCOVID vaccination
• Class 5 drivers license must be able to get totheProspect Lake site

Canada Summer Job Eligibility

This position is funded by the Government of Canadas Canada Summer Jobs (CSJ) program. To be eligible applicants must:

• Be between 15 and 30 years old at the start ofemployment;
• Be a Canadian citizen permanent resident or person with refugee protection;
• Be legally entitled to work in Canada under relevant provincial/territorial laws.

Employment is conditional upon approval of funding through the CSJ program.
