JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager (Corporate) is responsible for proactively identifying and securing corporate business opportunities to achieve the hotels revenue targets. This role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients understanding market trends and collaborating with internal teams to ensure exceptional service delivery.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales Marketing Hospitality Management or a related field;
Preferred:
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Strong understanding of the corporate travel market and client procurement processes.
Proficiency in sales and CRM software (e.g. Opera Delphi Salesforce).
Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
*Business level proficiency in English and Japanese language is required.
Key Task:
1. Proactive Sales and Business Development
Identify and pursue new corporate clients to meet or exceed revenue goals.
Participate in sales calls and presentations to secure new and implement strategic sales plans targeting the corporate segment
2. Client Relationship Management
Establish and nurture relationships with existing and potential corporate clients.
Conduct regular client meetings and site inspections to understand and fulfill their needs.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with clients to maintain high satisfaction levels.
3. Market Analysis and Strategy
Analyze market trends competitor activities and economic factors to identify business opportunities. Develop strategies to position the hotel competitively within the corporate market.
Collaborate with the revenue management team to optimize pricing and maximize revenue.
4. Sales Administration and Reporting
Prepare and manage contracts proposals and correspondence related to corporate sales.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
Provide regular reports on sales performance market trends and forecasts to management.
5. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Work closely with the events marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate with internal departments to customize offerings that meet corporate clients specific needs.
Participate in internal meetings to align sales strategies with overall hotel objectives.
