The Opportunity

OurEnvironmental Planning and PermittingteamisseekinganEnvironmental PermittingAnalysttosupport the development and execution of major infrastructure initiatives including new pipeline construction looping compressor stations and system expansions.

The Analyst will serve as a key technical resource for project teams regulatory leadership and legal counsel with particular emphasis on NEPA compliance in support of FERC Certificates of Public Convenience and Necessity federal and state permitting strategy and agency coordination for complex multi-stateprojects.Thisindividual has the proven skillscompetenciesand capacity tomanage multiplelargeprojects in various phases of development and geographic locations from pre-routing/siting phase into construction compliance phase.

What youll do

  • Lead and manage environmental permittingstrategyfor natural gas projects from early development through construction

  • Serve as an environmental subject-matter expert on projects requiring FERC authorization under Section 7 of the Natural Gas Act and NEPA review

  • Partner with legal counsel project management engineering and construction teams to support regulatory strategy risk management anddefensibledurablepermitting outcomes

  • Develop and manage integrated permitting schedules budgets and scopes aligned withFERC certificatespermittimelines construction sequencing and capital delivery milestones

  • Oversee environmental field investigations resource surveys and monitoring programs including management of consultants contractors and technical deliverables

  • Coordinate preparation and review of environmental resource reports and technical inputs supporting FERC applications and data requests

  • Lead permitting and agency coordinationand support negotiations of permit conditionsand compliance requirementsunder applicable federal andstateprograms includingCWA Sections 404 and 401 ESA Section 7 NHPA Section 106 and Rivers and Harbors Act Sections 10 and 408

  • Represent the company at agency meetings public hearings and community engagements effectively communicating environmental requirements and project commitments

  • Track and manage environmental conditions and commitments associated with FERC certificates and agency permits

  • Support post-certificate compliance and construction-phase environmental coordination.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree inEnvironmentalScience Environmental Engineering Natural Resources Planning or relatedfield

  • Seven or more years of experience supporting environmental permitting or compliance for interstate natural gas or linear infrastructure projects

  • Demonstrated experience supporting FERC-regulated projects including NEPA review and certificate proceedings

  • Strong working knowledge of NGA NEPA CWA ESA and NHPA requirements

  • Experience coordinating with federal andstateagencies on complex permitting efforts

  • Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical guidance for engineering and construction teams

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile capital projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience serving as an environmental lead on large-diameter pipeline projects

  • Previousexperience solving complex regulatory permitting and compliance issues for major pipeline infrastructure and construction projects

  • Expertisein assessing policy and regulatory issues to support development of corporate reporting and policy positions

  • Masters degree inrelateddiscipline.

This position requires candidates to:

  • Travel to project locations agency inspections and other field office locations within TC Energys US Natural Gas footprint requiring overnight stays(estimated upto 20% of work schedule)

  • Have current valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to CanadaUSand Mexico)

  • Successfully complete pre-employment medical screening including drug and alcohol testing

  • Have andmaintaina valid drivers license and provide a drivers abstract (record) for review
