Job Title: Cath Lab RN - SFIL Cardiology Department Name: SFIL CARDIOLOGY Employment Status: Full TimeShift: DaysDepartment: Cardiology Cardiac Cath LabSchedule: Days 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m with a 30 minute on call response time requirementFacility: Prime Healthcare St Francis HospitalLocation: Evanston IL 60201Deliver exceptional patient care to adult and geriatric populations ensuring safety comfort and high-quality outcomes throughout all cardiovascular holistic support addressing the physical psychosocial and emotional needs of patients in a surgical and procedural closely with physicians offering continuous updates and timely communication regarding patient status before during and after and maintain procedure rooms ensuring all equipment is functioning properly calibrated and ready for supplies and inventory gathering case-specific materials and making sure the Cath Lab team has everything required for efficient physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures ensuring accurate interpretation and rapid response to assess and document patient condition while they are in the Cardiovascular Lab maintaining thorough and precise quality initiatives participating in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities to enhance patient care and operational least one year of hands-on clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab with cardiac procedures or in a Critical Care environment is EXPERIENCE TRAINING1. Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN); preferred.2. Active state Registered Nursing (RN) License; required.3. Current BCLS (AHA) ACLS certificate upon hire and maintain current; required.4. One (1) year clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab doing cardiac work or in a Critical Care area; required.
