Job Summary
Title: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Inpatient Rehab / Acute Care SLP
Location: Onsite Pikeville KY
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Job Description:
Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) supporting Inpatient Rehab (IPR) and Acute Care settings delivering speech therapy swallowing therapy and communication disorder treatment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assess and treat speech language and swallowing disorders across adult and geriatric populations
- Develop implement and modify individualized speech therapy treatment plans in inpatient rehab and acute care settings
- Provide dysphagia therapy oral-pharyngeal treatment and communication rehabilitation
- Document evaluations progress notes discharge summaries and clinical reports accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians nurses and rehab staff
- Educate patients and families on therapy plans home programs and recovery strategies
- Participate in weekend rotation (every 4th weekend) and holiday coverage as required
- Maintain compliance with clinical standards regulatory guidelines and facility protocols

Qualification:
- Kentucky SLP License required
- BLS Certification required
- ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Minimum 1 year travel experience required
