About the Role:
This position offers the opportunity to work on a diverse mix of commercial real estate development and construction-related matters with a strong emphasis on contract drafting negotiation due diligence and transactional execution.
The associate in this role will support a wide range of real estate transactions and construction matters including acquisitions dispositions financing leasing title review and development projects. The position also requires familiarity with the closing process and related documentation making it well-suited for an attorney who enjoys handling deals from early-stage negotiation through completion.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in handling complex litigation matters and support case strategy research and drafting of legal documents
Draft review and negotiate a wide range of real estate and construction-related agreements including:
construction contracts
development agreements
related transactional documents
Support a variety of commercial real estate transactions including:
acquisitions
dispositions
financing matters
title examination
development projects
Negotiate and prepare commercial leasing documents including:
leases
subleases
amendments
assignments
transfers of commercial space
Conduct due diligence investigations and assess risk related to potential real estate transactions
Support and manage aspects of the closing process including preparation of:
closings
checklists
statements
funding documents
related transaction materials
Qualifications:
