Statement of Work-Senior Angular Web Developer SOW
This Statement of Work (SOW) is between the Vendor and the Department of Technology Services (DTS) for the Department of Workforce Services (DWS). This engagement is to provide DTS/DWS with professional services expertise as a Senior Angular Web Developer.
License Scope
DTS is responsible for all licensing requirements of their environments.
Duration
The proposed level of effort for this engagement is approximately Twenty four ( ) months (4176 hours) which will end on March 16 2028. Any increases in the scope requirements or scheduling may result in a new or extended professional services agreement.
Job Description
The Utah Department of Workforce Services is actively seeking Senior Angular web consultants for immediate hire on the Core Web Team. Our teams core responsibility is to develop support modernize and maintain internal and public facing web applications that serve the needs of the citizens of the State of Utah. Our team is currently modernizing several applications by migrating from AngularJS to Angular . The accepted candidate should have experience with both of those technologies and a Scrum/Devops culture.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with modern web development technologies including but not limited to:
- Angular user interfaces
- Bootstrap 4 responsive design
- Experience with Test Driven Development specifically focused on a high level of code coverage and integration testing
- Experience designing and implementing web applications for screen readers and using modern accessibility guidelines (WCAG)
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM including experience with the Atlassian tools (Jira/Confluence) sprint planning and retrospectives and regular team stand-up meetings.
- Experience working on a development team in both new and existing projects.
- Experience with GitHub and GitFlow Pull Request model
- Excellent oral and written communication
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
Preference given to candidates with the following qualifications:
- Agentic AI development with Copilot Gemini or Claude
- Experience with GitHub Actions including automated CI/CD
