reading drawings to bid customer projects using Microsoft Excel and Word to create a timely provided and detailed quote
collaborating with engineering to quote correct designs per customer specifications
willing to train in the shop for 15 hours a week for the first 6 months to learn how to build the products
execute strategies for growing FCSs client base
help create marketing material and update website
process purchase order requests to supply accounting engineering production and shipping correct specifications and requirements per project
create sales drawings showing basic silo geometrical dimensions
participate with President on sales terms per contracts
achieving key performance indicators such as revenue sold
occasional day trips to visit job sites customers and educational endeavors
Qualifications:
excited to be part of a team in a small business that is growing
enjoys working in a small community business in a rural setting
demonstrates responsibility by detailed follow through on tasks and communication
strong Microsoft office skills
5 years hands-on experience with construction or manufacturing
experience with (Customer Relationship Management) software
capability or willingness to learn CAD software for basic drawings
ability to solve problems and grasp concepts for quoting custom projects
ability to understand or learn technical terms such as: A36 carbon steel
Experience in industrial equipment sales or manufacturing is considered an asset.
