Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse in the Operating Room (OR) setting is responsible for providing skilled nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. This role involves circulating and scrubbing for a variety of cases including Ortho Spine Vascular ENT General and GYN surgeries. The RN will work with adolescent adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and ambulatory/outpatient settings participating in standard community hospital surgical cases.

Responsibilities:
- Circulating for ENT General Surgery Total joints Neuro/Spine OB/GYN Ortho and Plastics cases.
- Scrubbing for Vascular cases.
- Performing pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
- Assisting with a range of surgical procedures including Ortho Spine Vascular ENT General and GYN surgeries.
- Monitoring and documenting patient vital signs and conditions.
- Collaborating with surgeons anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensuring a safe and sterile operating room environment.

- Scrubbing for Vascular cases.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Experience with Ortho and Spine surgeries.

Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- ACLS certification.
- Proficiency in scrubbing for various surgical specialties.

Special Considerations:

- Call is required.

Scheduling:
- Monday-Friday.
- 3x12 hour shifts 0700-1930.
- Call is around 48-56 hours per 6 week schedule.
