The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care to patients including diagnostics therapeutics and monitoring. This role requires experience in adult critical care and ER settings with a preference for NICU experience. The therapist will work 3x12 night shifts and may need to float between similar units.

Location:Everett Washington United States
Responsibilities:
- Perform respiratory assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Administer respiratory therapies including oxygen therapy aerosol medications and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Provide airway management including intubation and extubation assistance.
- Document patient care and communicate with the healthcare team.
- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.

Required Skills & Certifications:
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Experience in Adult Critical Care and ER

Special Considerations:
- Must be willing to float between like units.
- Weekend work is required.
- No call is required.
- The facility is a Level II Trauma Center.

Scheduling:
- 3x12 night shifts
- 13-week assignment length
- Guaranteed 60 hours per 2-week period; traveler can be called off for one shift per 2-week period.
