Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated and technically proficient BI Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses a sophisticated understanding of G&A business processes (Finance HR Legal) and expert-level technical skills. You will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that drive efficiency and transparency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dashboard & Reporting Lifecycle
Design & Development: Architect and deploy advanced dashboards and analytical tools to track trends and performance metrics across G&A workflows.
Visual Storytelling: Utilize Looker and Plx (internal) to create intuitive data visualizations that simplify complex information for executive stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with internal teams to identify data gaps and build shared resources that foster a culture of data transparency.
2. Data Infrastructure & Engineering
ETL & Data Modeling: Extract transform and load data from diverse sources using Google SQL.
Schema Optimization: Redesign data tables to be more intuitive actionable and performant ensuring they serve as a single source of truth.
Trend Analysis: Perform variance analysis and deep-dives into G&A data to uncover optimization opportunities.
3. Process Automation & Governance
Documentation: Maintain rigorous documentation for all reporting logic data dictionaries and underlying schemas.
Data Integrity: Implement validation checks to ensure 100% accuracy and consistency across all analytical outputs.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify and automate manual reporting processes to enhance team agility.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in Data Analytics Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
Experience: Proven track record in a BI Analyst or Data Engineering role specifically supporting G&A functions like Finance HR or Legal.
Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex data manipulation.
Visualization: Extensive experience building enterprise-level reports in Looker.
Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the communication skills necessary to translate technical findings into business recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced Degree: Masters degree in Statistics Mathematics Engineering or a related field.
Internal Tooling: Hands-on experience with Plx or similar advanced internal analytical platforms.
Ownership Mentality: Ability to operate with high autonomy and execute tasks efficiently in a fast-paced global environment.
Data Architecture: Familiarity with modern data warehousing concepts and cloud-based BI ecosystems.
