Job Summary

Senior SQL Developer

Location: Vienna VA (hybrid)

Duration: 6 months

Interview: Virtual round

Need local with DL copy

Need LinkedI with proper location

Responsibilities:

Designing and optimizing complex SQL queries including joins subqueries CTEs and window functions
Developing and maintaining database structures indexes and performance tuning strategies
Translating business requirements into technical solutions and vice versa
Partnering with non-technical stakeholders to communicate data insights and solutions
Supporting reporting and dashboard development initiatives
Performing other duties as needed

Required:

5 years of experience in SQL Development
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or related field (or equivalent experience)
Advanced SQL skills (joins subqueries CTEs window functions indexing)
Strong understanding of Database Performance tuning and optimization
Knowledge of Procure-to-Pay systems and processes
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work collaboratively across teams

Qualifications:

Strong experience with SQL Server environments
Experience with Coding languages such as Python R or JavaScript
Experience with Power BI or other Dashboard/Reporting tools
Exposure to Enterprise Financial or Procurement systems
Strong business acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
