Position: Kafka Developer / Engineer (Kafka MongoDB)

Location: Remote

Duration: Long term contract

Type: Only W2 (No C2C/1099)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Kafka Developer / Engineer with strong experience in Apache Kafka and working knowledge of MongoDB. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining real-time data streaming pipelines and supporting backend data systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and maintain Kafka-based data streaming solutions
Work on Kafka producers consumers and topics management
Monitor and troubleshoot Kafka pipelines and performance issues
Integrate Kafka with downstream systems including MongoDB
Develop and optimize MongoDB queries and collections
Ensure data consistency reliability and scalability
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for data integration
Participate in debugging testing and performance tuning

Required Skills:

Strong experience with Apache Kafka (70%)
Hands-on experience with MongoDB (30%)
Good knowledge of data streaming and event-driven architecture
Experience with Java / Python / Scala (any one)
Understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture
Basic knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes
