RN NICU

Join the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team at St. Mary Medical Center where you will provide specialized compassionate care to newborns and their families in a high-acuity environment.

As an RN in the NICU you will deliver evidence-based patient-centered care while supporting infants with complex medical needs and collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary care team.

• Provide specialized NICU nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns
• Monitor and assess infant health status responding to changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with NICU protocols
• Collaborate with neonatologists respiratory therapists and care teams
• Educate and support parents and families throughout the care journey
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Deliver care aligned with evidence-based practices and safety standards

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Active California Registered Nurse License (upon hire)
• BLS Certification American Heart Association (upon hire)
• NRP Certification American Academy of Pediatrics (upon hire)
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
