Position Summary

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using radiopharmaceuticals while ensuring patient safety image quality and adherence to regulatory standards. This role requires strong technical expertise attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Work Schedule
  • Shift: Monday to Friday 07:00 AM 03:30 PM
  • Hours: 40 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Prepare administer and appropriately dispose of radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate anatomical and technical imaging parameters.
  • Adhere to all radiation safety standards and institutional guidelines to ensure patient and staff safety.
  • Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS including correct patient data image quality and proper lead marker usage.
  • Monitor equipment performance and ensure all systems are functioning properly.
  • Identify and report equipment malfunctions or potential issues to appropriate personnel in a timely manner.
  • Perform lockout/tagout procedures when necessary to maintain safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean organized and compliant work environment within the department.
