The role requires close coordination with cross functional teams (Engineering Supply Chain Compliance Finance) and OEM facing counterparts to ensure accurate timely and compliant tariff claim submissions aligned with customer commercial expectations and Danas financial performance metrics.
Engineering & Cost Support
Apply mechanical engineering knowledge in forging and casting processes to support part cost understanding BOM accuracy and material content validation.
Review and validate part level data including piece price material composition and manufacturing process relevance for tariff and cost recovery calculations.
Support BOM accuracy initiatives by identifying engineering data gaps inconsistencies or incorrect material/process assumptions and working with design sourcing and manufacturing teams to resolve them.
Tariff & Claim Execution
