Pagosa Springs Medical Center is looking for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) who has oncology subspecialty experience. The Nurse Practitioner s or Physician Assistant duties will include management of Oncology and Infusion patients including examination treatment consultation follow-up referral and ordering labs/imaging. The NP or PA will also participate in patient satisfaction programs quality improvement initiatives and any organizational or departmental goals and objectives to assure safe quality care. *The Nurse Practitioner must have a minimum of two (2) years Oncology subspecialty experience be certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) possess a DEA license and a Colorado license and hold a current AOCNP certification. Physician Assistants must be certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and hold a current Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) credential; oncology-specific certification is preferred where applicable. The provider must possess an active DEA registration and an unrestricted Colorado license.
Shift: Day Shift 10-hour shifts Mon. - Thurs. and one Friday per month
