Job Title: Surgical Technologist (Contract)

Duration: 13 Weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 12-hour shifts (3 days/week) On-call

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to support operating room procedures in a fast-paced clinical environment. The ideal candidate will have strong orthopedic experience the ability to work collaboratively with surgical teams and flexibility to adapt to varying case demands.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain sterile fields for surgical procedures
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and supplies
Ensure proper setup and functioning of surgical equipment
Maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures
Anticipate surgeon needs to support efficient workflow
Assist with patient positioning prepping and draping
Perform instrument counts and ensure compliance with safety protocols
Support turnover between surgical cases
Float to other OR units or affiliated locations as needed

Required Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years of Surgical Technologist experience
Strong orthopedic surgery experience required
CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Ability to take on-call shifts as required

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior travel assignment experience
Experience in multi-specialty OR settings
