R&D Specification & Graphics Assistant

Job Purpose

TheR&D Specification & Graphics Assistantsupports product and/or packaging development by managing projects that requireupdates to existing product specifications(-only changes labeling/artwork revisions andspecificationmaintenance). This role ensures updates aredeliveredaccurately and on time bymanagingtimelines routingreviews/approvalsmaintaining specification integrityand performing detailedartwork/specificationreviews.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Coordinateend-to-end execution ofassignedspecification and graphics-only change projectsfrom request intake throughcompletion(e.g. In-Store Merchandising updates labeling updates)

• Track timelines to manageon-time deliveryby proactively tracking& communicatingprojectdue dates status and risks tostakeholders

• Ensurealldocumentation is complete accurate andproperlyversion-controlled

• Maintain specification lineage and version history;identify and escalate discrepancies supporting resolution per established processes

• Review artwork revisions for accuracyandconsistencyagainstapprovedspecificationsTrack and communicate status risks and due dates proactively toappropriatestakeholders

• Escalation of graphics errors/issues with Graphics management team

• Update and maintain specifications and related documentation (e.g. material & packaging specs)

• Add or remove supplier facilities within material specifications as required ensuring changes are documented and approved per process

Expected Experience & Required Skills

• Associates degree in related technical or scientific field or high school diplomawith4years of experience supporting specification management data management or project management systems.

• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) and data entry within laboratory inventory or specification systems.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to follow and apply standardized procedures.

• Demonstrated ability to managemultiple projects simultaneouslywith firm deadlines

• Effective verbal and written communication skills including accurate data recording reporting and collaboration with technical and cross-functional teams.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced technical environment.

Work Environment & Schedule

Relocation & Sponsorship:This role is based onsite at the Kraft Heinz Innovation Center in Glenview Illinois / Heinz Innovation Center in Warrendale PA. Relocation assistance and work authorization sponsorship are not available for this position.

Work hours:Occasional overtime may be required to support project timelines; however regular overtime is expected to be minimal.

Onsite & reliable transportation: This is a fulltime onsite position at the Kraft Heinz R&D Innovation Center in Glenview IL. Reliable attendance and dependable transportation are required. R&D Assistants work on campus Monday through Friday following a standard daytime schedule to support daily lab operations sample preparation equipment setup/readiness and collaboration with R&D teams. Occasional flexibility may be needed for pilot plant runs or other projectbased activities within standard operational hours.

Compensation & Benefits Overview

• Hourly Pay:Starting at $28/hour with final offer based on experience skills and internal equity.

Physical Requirements

Physical demandsinclude but are not limited to:

• Work is performed primarily in an office and/or R&D center environment with routine use of computers monitors keyboards and standard office equipment.

• Ability to sit for extended periods of time while performing computer-based work including data entry specification creation document review and system navigation.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers for fine motor tasks including typing data entry document handling and use of computer input devices.

• Ability to visually review detailed information on computer screens and printed documents including specifications formulas and data tables.

• Ability to communicate effectively in person via phone and through electronic communication platforms.

• Occasional lifting carrying or moving of materials such as files binders or office supplies.
