Job Summary
Our goal is toshowcasewhy Peets is the unique and special place it is - and give students like you an opportunity to learn about our culture operations decision making processes and day-to-day business.
The program will be primarily project-based work and day-to-day shadowing/mentorship. The Interns will fill their weeks shadowing core members of the team to learn how their department functions and supports Peets business while focusing efforts on completing their project. The day-to-day activities will vary depending on which department you will support.
Weanticipateoffering a variety of engagement activities including but not limited to: Roasting Plant Tour Coffee Tasting Tea 101 Career Coaching and Coffee Chat with Stuart Heflin our President. These engagement activities are set to occur every other week. The connections you make here will be connections for life and help you transition to the working world after look forward to hosting you at Peets!
Based in Peets Home Office in Emeryville CA- we require all employees to work onsite 3 days per week. This is a part-time paid internship at $25.00/hrand will require a 30hours/week commitment from June 8-August 7 2026.

What You Will Do:
As aCreative & Brand Content Internat Peets Coffee you willsupport the organization and development of Peets creative and brand assets by auditing existing marketing and sales materials building a centralized and structured image/content library across brands and helping translate creative assets into clear usable tools for teams.
This role combines creative curation brand storytelling and content organization to improve how Peets leverages its visual identity and innovation work across channels.
Peets has a rich history of brand storytelling innovation and visual assets that are currently fragmented across teams and materials. This internship will create a more structured and accessible creative ecosystemenabling faster more consistent storytelling across marketing sales and innovation.
It also brings a fresh digital-native perspective on how to organize andleveragecontent for modern use cases (AI tools socialecomm presentations).
Audit historical selling decks marketing materials and innovation content across Peets and portfolio brands
Catalog and tag images by brand product format occasion claims (e.g. organicEnveritas) and usage (retail café digital etc.)
Build a centralized searchable image and content library (working with existing systems or structured folders)
Create modular content toolkits for key initiatives (e.g. Alta RTD Instant) that can be reused across decks and channels
Partner with marketing to support light creative needs (deck visuals mockups simple asset edits if skilled)
Who You Are (Qualifications and Skills):
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing or a related field (e.g. Business Economics Social Science Communication).
Enrolled as a full time or part-time student at a California University/ College.
High attention to detail
Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability
Time management and prioritization skills
Professional communication skills (email and report writing)
Critical thinking and ability to generate insights
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
