Software TesterQA

• Developing and executing comprehensive test plans and test cases for software packages
• Applying testing methodologies to validate functionality performance and security of software packages
• Conducting rigorous testing across multiple environments to support release cycles and ensure system stability
• Utilizing test automation tools and frameworks to streamline regression and functional testing
• Tracking documenting and reporting defects using industry-standard defect tracking systems
• Collaborating with developers engineers and project managers to ensure timely resolution of issues
• Providing surge support to aid in development efforts when needed

• Experience in software quality assurance and test reporting
• Excellent analytical documentation and communication skills
• Experience with defect tracking systems such as Jira
• Strong understanding and experience with Java and Python languages
• Ability to work in a secure fast-paced and collaborative environment
• Active Secret clearance with TS/SCI eligibility

• Bachelors degree in computer science engineering or related field
• Experience in testing DoD or federal government platforms
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
• Eight or more years of experience preferred
