We are looking for an Education Program Specialist to support the monitoring implementation and compliance of educational programs and funding cycles. This position will be Part-Time and Remote.
What Youll Do
Monitor program activities and budgets ensuring adherence to federal and state laws administrative rules and specific grant requirements.
Plan and implement annual application and distribution processes for 21st CCLC funding managing the funding cycle and ensuring compliance with program standards.
Operate update and maintain databases and tracking systems managing grant records applications and reporting through federal state or organizational systems.
Provide technical assistance and professional development through workshops technical assistance sessions newsletters and field communications.
Develop and refine standard operating procedures establishing systems and infrastructure to supplement existing programming.
What Youll Need
Required:
Bachelors degree in education or a related field.
Proficiency in Word Outlook PowerPoint and Excel.
Experience working with systems and spreadsheets to track grantee data.
Understanding of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA) and its implementation in the field.
Effective collaboration and communication skills.
Ability to provide advanced technical assistance and professional development to stakeholders.
Preferred:
Previous experience managing grant-funded programs.
Familiarity with 21st CCLC funding processes and requirements.
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal state and local standards.
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer utilizing a mouse keyboard and monitor.
Must be able to communicate with customers/team members over the phone and in person.
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings etc.

$45 per hourThe pay range for this position is listed compensation may vary based on several factors including location experience and education. Benefit packages for this role will include 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
