RGSD is home to 12 schools which serve approximately 5300 students. Committed to providing excellent programs from early childhood education through high school.
Culture:
RGSD is dedicated to regaining full accreditation under the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Riverview Gardens is currently working in collaboration with educational institutions and community partners to support the needs of children.

Riverview GardensSummer School for Grades
Date: June 1 through June 26 2026;Monday through Friday
Professional Development Day/Set Up:June 1 and June 2 2026
Students Arrive/Breakfast: 8:15am to 8:30am
Instruction Time:8:30am to 1:30pm
Locations: LemastersElementary School 1825 Crown Point Dr St. Louis Mo 63136
Teacher Work Schedule: 8:00am to 2:00pm
Stipend:$3300
In order to be eligible for consideration applicants must be a current Riverview Gardens teacher and hold an active Elementary (B-3 and/or 1-6) certificate issued by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
Applicants must be able to work the duration of the Summer School for Grades 2-5.
Applicants must complete an online application.
The District is accepting applications until all positions are filled.
