Schedule Details:Staff will work Monday-Friday; typically 8-4:30pm or 8:30-5pm. Staff will also be included on weekend and holiday rotations. This consists of working 1 weekend a month and 1-2 holidays a year. Weekend and Holiday shifts are scheduled 7-3:30pm.

Shift locations worked will be primarily for Waukesha Memorial Hospital or the Heart & Vascular Center at ProHealth Care with rotation to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital Mukwonago and Brookfield clinics when needed.

What You Will Do:

The Exercise Specialist assists in the care of the cardiac patient in multiple modalities. Provides all patient care in the Cardiovascular department where appropriate. Performs graded exercise evaluations place/educate patients on cardiac monitors perform ekgs monitor/identify EKG rhythms and provide lifestyle modification and education where appropriate.

What You Will Need:

Bachelors in Fitness/Sports Studies Required.
Bachelor of Science in one of the following areas: Kinesiology Exercise Science Health Human Performance & Recreation Exercise Physiology
Minimum License: BLS (CPR)ACLS
Exercise Specialist degree must have ACSM and ACLS within 1 year of hire.
Previous internship in Cardiovascular Diagnostics/Cardiac Rehab Program
