Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support building operations by maintaining safety quality and compliance standards. This role involves performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting facility issues and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within the facility.
Responsibilities:
- Follow all company policies procedures and safety protocols including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout practices
- Communicate effectively with team members leadership and external vendors
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC electrical plumbing and other building systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear safety concerns and potential failures
- Perform basic repairs such as filter changes minor leaks lighting replacements and equipment adjustments
- Monitor building automation systems and report any issues or irregularities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility-related issues
- Escalate complex problems to supervisors or third-party vendors as needed
- Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call rotation when required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms and maintenance areas
- Perform general facility upkeep including minor carpentry painting and repairs
- Assist vendors and contractors during service visits
- Document maintenance activities repairs and inventory usage accurately
- Recommend improvements for safety efficiency and overall facility performance
Required Qualifications:
- 612 months of facilities or building maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems
- Familiarity with safety protocols PPE and maintenance procedures
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
