Job Title: Facilities Technician Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support building operations by maintaining safety quality and compliance standards. This role involves performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting facility issues and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Follow all company policies procedures and safety protocols including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout practices
• Communicate effectively with team members leadership and external vendors
• Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC electrical plumbing and other building systems
• Conduct routine inspections to identify wear safety concerns and potential failures
• Perform basic repairs such as filter changes minor leaks lighting replacements and equipment adjustments
• Monitor building automation systems and report any issues or irregularities
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility-related issues
• Escalate complex problems to supervisors or third-party vendors as needed
• Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call rotation when required
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms and maintenance areas
• Perform general facility upkeep including minor carpentry painting and repairs
• Assist vendors and contractors during service visits
• Document maintenance activities repairs and inventory usage accurately
• Recommend improvements for safety efficiency and overall facility performance

Required Qualifications:

• 612 months of facilities or building maintenance experience
• Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems
• Familiarity with safety protocols PPE and maintenance procedures
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
