Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable Facilities Technician to support building operations by maintaining safety quality and compliance standards. This role involves performing preventive maintenance troubleshooting facility issues and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations within the facility.
Responsibilities:
Follow all company policies procedures and safety protocols including proper use of PPE and lockout/tagout practices
Communicate effectively with team members leadership and external vendors
Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC electrical plumbing and other building systems
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear safety concerns and potential failures
Perform basic repairs such as filter changes minor leaks lighting replacements and equipment adjustments
Monitor building automation systems and report any issues or irregularities
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot facility-related issues
Escalate complex problems to supervisors or third-party vendors as needed
Participate in emergency response procedures and on-call rotation when required
Maintain cleanliness and organization of mechanical rooms and maintenance areas
Perform general facility upkeep including minor carpentry painting and repairs
Assist vendors and contractors during service visits
Document maintenance activities repairs and inventory usage accurately
Recommend improvements for safety efficiency and overall facility performance
Required Qualifications:
612 months of facilities or building maintenance experience
Basic knowledge of HVAC electrical and plumbing systems
Familiarity with safety protocols PPE and maintenance procedures
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
