The Osen-Hunter Group LLC (OHG) is a Virginia-based company that provides security training and operational support to the US government and security program design and consulting services to select private sector clients.
The Operations Security Specialistsupports ATFP initiatives and critical facility security programs. This position is in the Northern Virginia / Washington Metro area and involves some travel.
Duties
- Effectively communicate program expectations as related to Corporate Managers and Client stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
- Determine resources and participant knowledge skills and abilities needed to achieve program goals.
- Identify potential risks and resolve issues and conflicts within the program business areas.
- Plan schedule and coordinate program timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the program.
- Develop best practices and tools for program execution and data management.
- Review and process clearance paperwork IAW FSO and CSO responsibilities.
- Coordinating responsibility for all travel arrangements for overseas and domestic projects and any other related program travel.
- Maintain personnel deployment and training tracker data bases.
- Coordinate with Corporate office to track passports visas training qualifications and other requirements needed for deployments.
- Coordinate and or deconflict all Government program administrative matters with the corporate Personnel Administration Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education: B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent work experience in a security or military related field. (7 years experience will be equivalent to a B.A. or B.S. degree)
- Five (5) years relevant experience in project management data collection with the ability to integrate information into databases.
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS clearance preferably with Polygraph.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English both in the written and spoken word.
- Must be able to produce AT/FP-related reports/products using Microsoft Office Suite products MS Project and Adobe Acrobat. Technically competent with Microsoft Office applications.
- Must having documented/verifiable previous work experience with security operations
- Have expertise in individual and collective training of units responsible for AT/FP mission.
- Must be medically qualified for travel to semi-permissive and non-permissive areas and be able to successfully qualify to standardized weapons qualification course. Must be able to complete and pass a comprehensive physical examination.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Job requires intermittent exposure to all weather conditions as well as intermittent sitting walking running climbing squatting stretching bending and kneeling.
- Must have a valid drivers license and US passport.
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented collaborative environment is essential.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills that contribute to program accomplishment.
- Adept at conducting research into program-related issues and products.
- Sitting for extended periods of time.
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard mouse and other devices and objects.
- Physically able to participate in training sessions presentations and meetings.
- Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients stakeholders or off-site personnel/management.
