Heartland AEA is seeking a dedicatedSpeech-Language Pathologistto join our team for the202627 school year.
Heartland AEA supports57 public school districts 44 accredited nonpublic schools and 2 charter schoolsacross central Iowa.
This part-time position working a 115-day contract would be based out of ourIndianola officeserving Indianola Office serving the Indianola Middle School and High School and partially at Laura Ingalls Wilder Elementary School.
What Youll Do
Collaborate with educators families and multidisciplinary team members to support students communication needs.
Conduct speech-language assessments that are relevant to the presenting concern and meaningful within educational and home contexts.
Plan implement and monitor evidence-based interventions using a variety of service delivery models.
Support the generalization of communication skills across settings through collaboration and consultation.

What Were Looking For
Licensure:
- Appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examinersthrough theIowa Board of Educational Examiners
Education:
Masters degree in speech pathology or communications disorders from a recognized training institution or qualified by a Statement of Professional Recognition
Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred
