Controller

Our client is seeking a Controller to leadthe accounting function within a fast-growing investment-focused organization serving as a key partner to executive leadership. This role goes beyond traditional accounting by combining financial oversight with strategic insight operational collaboration and performance-driven is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is detail-oriented but forward-looking analytical but curious and energized by building structure anddriving results.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the full accounting function ensuring accuracy integrity and scalability of financial reporting
• Lead and continuously improve the month-end close process focusing on speed accuracy and reporting discipline
• Partner with leadership on budgeting forecasting and financial planning to support business decisions
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to align financial results with business performance
• Analyze financial results identify trends and uncover opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement
• Develop and enhance financial reporting including KPIs and performance metrics
• Build and strengthen accounting processes internal controls and financial infrastructure to support growth
• Identify gaps implement structure and drive continuous process improvement
• Support oversight of payroll benefits and administrative functions in coordination with external partners
• Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency and insights
• Lead develop and grow the accounting team establishing accountability and consistency across the function

• 57 years of accounting experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
• Experience in fast-paced environments preferred
• Strong financial analysis forecasting and reporting skills
• Proven ability to improve close processes and drive operational discipline
• Highly collaborative with the ability to partner across teams and influence leadership
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive curious mindset
• Detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically
• Experience building and developing teams
