Our client is seeking a Controller to leadthe accounting function within a fast-growing investment-focused organization serving as a key partner to executive leadership. This role goes beyond traditional accounting by combining financial oversight with strategic insight operational collaboration and performance-driven is a hands-on leadership position for someone who is detail-oriented but forward-looking analytical but curious and energized by building structure anddriving results.
Key Responsibilities
Own and oversee the full accounting function ensuring accuracy integrity and scalability of financial reporting
Lead and continuously improve the month-end close process focusing on speed accuracy and reporting discipline
Partner with leadership on budgeting forecasting and financial planning to support business decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with operations and finance teams to align financial results with business performance
Analyze financial results identify trends and uncover opportunities for cost savings and margin improvement
Develop and enhance financial reporting including KPIs and performance metrics
Build and strengthen accounting processes internal controls and financial infrastructure to support growth
Identify gaps implement structure and drive continuous process improvement
Support oversight of payroll benefits and administrative functions in coordination with external partners
Leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency and insights
Lead develop and grow the accounting team establishing accountability and consistency across the function
Requirements
57 years of accounting experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
Experience in fast-paced environments preferred
Strong financial analysis forecasting and reporting skills
Proven ability to improve close processes and drive operational discipline
Highly collaborative with the ability to partner across teams and influence leadership
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive curious mindset
Detail-oriented with the ability to think strategically
Experience building and developing teams
Motivated driven and comfortable operating in a high-growth evolving environment
