We are partnering with a reputable and long-standing company in the Melbourne Florida area that is seeking a Controller to lead its accounting and financial operations. This is a high-impact leadership role offering visibility with executive management and the opportunity to shape financial processes within a growing operationally focused business.

What Youll Do:

• Own the monthly quarterly and year-end close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Prepare review and present GAAP-compliant financial statements and internal management reports
• Lead and oversee all day-to-day accounting operations including A/R A/P payroll general ledger and bank reconciliations
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls policies and accounting procedures
• Manage and oversee inventory accounting cost accounting and fixed assets
• Ensure proper revenue recognition accruals and expense management
• Supervise mentor and develop accounting staff fostering a high-performing team environment
• Partner closely with executive leadership on financial analysis budgeting and forecasting
• Support strategic initiatives by providing financial insights and operational guidance
• Assist with financial planning KPI tracking and performance analysis
• Act as a key liaison between accounting operations and senior leadership

What Were Looking For:

• 8 years of progressive accounting experience with leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage mentor and develop a team
