STUDENT Business Coordinator Assistant

Job Summary
The position of Student Business Coordinator Assistant will support the Information Technology and Analytics Department by working with the Business Coordinator to schedule and plan events for IT&A student staff and assist with recruitment tabling event preparations. The BCA will also aid in administrative duties such as data entry department communication and collaborate on special projects as needed.
Work Requirements:
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook) and Canva (preferred)
- Ability to work both independently collaborate with others and proactively reach out for guidance and assignments.
- Strong organizational skills attention to detail and Proactive communication.
Tasks Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize schedule and plan events for IT&A student employees working closely with the Director of ECT and Business Coordinator.
- Assist with preparations for recruitment tabling events
- Assist with data entry and maintenance of department records
- Communicate information to the IT&A Student team through email and Microsoft Teams
- IT&A Student Team Newsletters
- IT&A Student Event Scheduling/Planning
- IT&A Student Spotlight Coordination
- IT&A Educational Technology Day
- Social media develop and implement a plan
- Work closely with HR on the I-9 process.
- Assist with special projects as needed
Candidate Qualifications (Knowledge Skills and Abilities):
- Must currently be enrolled as a full-time student at Ithaca College
- Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Knowledge of AI applications and utilization of the applications.(preferred)
Pay Rate: $16.30
