As a Security Officer Driver Checkpoint Monitor in Kansas City MO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry and exit activity verify credentials and support security-related operations through routine patrols visible presence and strong communication. This role is ideal for someone who values teamwork acts with integrity and brings a reliable people-first approach to every shift.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor and document the entry and exit of employees visitors drivers and/or vendors verifying credentials and following site access protocols.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around docks trailer yards gate areas parking areas and the perimeter as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Help to deter unauthorized access suspicious activity and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting security-related issues to the appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state county or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
