Job Overview
The Recruiter I supports organizational hiring initiatives by developing and executing effective sourcing strategies to attract and retain qualified healthcare professionals. This role acts as a liaison between Human Resources hiring managers departments and candidates to ensure efficient recruitment operations in a fast-paced high-volume environment.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Sourcing and Recruitment
Develop and implement sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates
Meet or exceed hiring goals with minimal reliance on external agencies
Source candidates through job boards databases networking and referrals
Post job advertisements across approved platforms including online sites and educational institutions
Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and build recruitment strategies
Serve as a liaison between candidates and management throughout the hiring process
Provide guidance on job requisitions candidate evaluation and interview processes
Recruitment Operations
Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) with accurate information
Review resumes screen applicants and coordinate interviews
Facilitate requisition approvals by verifying job details and requirements
Ensure timely posting and monitoring of open positions
Offer and Onboarding Support
Assist in negotiating compensation packages including salary and relocation support
Coordinate offer extensions and hiring decisions
Oversee onboarding processes including background checks and credential verification
Relationship Management and Events
Build and maintain relationships with internal teams and external talent sources
Participate in recruitment events such as career fairs and networking events
Team Support and Development
Collaborate with senior staffing team members to improve recruitment practices
Support and mentor junior team members as needed
Respond to recruitment-related inquiries from departments and leadership
Additional Responsibilities
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree required
Minimum 2 years of recruiting or placement experience preferably in healthcare or a high-volume environment
Strong communication interpersonal and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Proven experience sourcing and recruiting qualified candidates
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Work Environment

Requires strong time management and multitasking skills
