Job Description:

Were looking for compassionate and dedicated Residential Direct Support Associatesto join our Community-Based Services team supporting adults with developmental disabilities and complex medical needs in our residential homes.

Schedule: Part time and per diem schedules available; Must be willing to work 1 weekend shift per week.

Part time 24 hours a week

• Thursday 7a-3p

• Friday 7a-3p

• Saturday 7a-3p

Pay:$22.62/hour

If you have experience in Human Services as a Direct Support Professional Residential Counselor or Behavior Technician this role is for you!

Responsibilities:

The Direct Support Associatewill support in promoting independence creating a safe environment and providing companionship to clients in a residential home setting.

• Assist clients with activities of daily living such as personal care and medication administration

• Assisting with lifting transferring and mobility support

• Support and assist with household tasks such as light housekeeping meal preparation and laundry

• Accompany individuals on outings such as daily activities appointments and community events

• Follow each individualscare plan

• All staff will undergo training in conflict resolution and behavioral health safety

• Complete required daily documentation on a computer or tablet

• Other duties as needed or assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Must be 18 years of age or older

• Experience providing direct support or direct care (preferred)

• Valid drivers license reliable transportation and automobile insurance
