Job Summary
Role Summary:
Responsible for executing the GotoMarket Pharmacy strategy by leading accountlevel pricing rate development and customer negotiations in partnership with Sales across a complex pharmacy book of business. This role develops strategic datadriven recommendations related to market competition pricing and product positioning while influencing underwriting best practices and contributing to product and pricing strategy through strong matrix partnership.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages an assigned book of pharmacy business with accountability for profitable growth persistency and earnings performance.
Conducts casespecific risk assessments and develops accountlevel pricing strategies.
Leads rate development and customer negotiations in collaboration with Sales for complex pharmacy accounts.
Develops executes and monitors account plans to drive growth and profitability.
Analyzes market trends and competitive dynamics to deliver strategic recommendations on pricing and product positioning.
Influences underwriting best practices and provides consultative input to matrix partners on product development and pricing strategy.
Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) supporting Medical Underwriting teams and broader stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant work experience required.
3 years of experience in Pharmacy Underwriting or related field
Demonstrated expertise in rating product and financial analysis.
Proven ability to make sound decisions with a strong understanding of internal and external financial implications.
Indepth knowledge of market dynamics competitive conditions and pricing drivers.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.For this position we anticipate offering an annual salary of 76000 - 126600 USD / yearly depending on relevant factors including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
