What Youll Do

• Manages the grill stationfrom start to finish Cooking and preparing food for consumption by thecustomer and employee meals
• Ensure that all foodproducts have been prepared correctly before cooking and are to Nayas recipesand standards
• Check food quality throughout the day toensure freshness
• Maintain appropriate portion-controland limit waste
• Complete shift work (prepopening and closing checklists) as assigned timely and thoroughly inaccordance with standards
• Clean and stock station as assigned by thestart of each shift
• Clean equipment as assigned thoroughly andin a timely fashion
• Manage proper storing rotations andtemperatures according to Health regulations
• Updates knowledge and skills by participatingin staff training opportunities
• Informs manager on duty immediately of anyDOH or OSHA/workplace safety violations
• Maintain complete knowledge of correctmaintenance and use of equipment; use equipment and tools only as intendedproperly and safely

Who You Are

• 2 years of culinary experience
• The ability to lift at least 50 pounds on aregular basis.
• Excellent communicator in written and verbalformats.
• Communicates information effectively andefficiently.
• Maintains a friendly helpful and positiveattitude always.
• Polished personal presentation; Grooming meetsNaya standards as outlined by Employee Handbook
• The ability to bend stoop stand and performextensive walking for 8-10 hours a day.
• The ability to withstand exposure to high volumeof business and the movement noise and temperature extremes associated with abusy restaurant.
• Ability to work nights weekends and holidaysand variable schedule per the needs of the business.
• Adherence to company state and countysanitation standards.
• Perform all other related and compatible dutiesas assigned by the Management team.
