About the Role
Verdant Tree Farm is seeking a dedicated and organized HR / Team Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our growing team. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the smooth operation of our farms human resources functions while fostering a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
As the HR / Team Coordinator you will be at the heart of our team ensuring effective communication streamlined HR processes and a supportive environment where every team member can thrive.
Key Objectives
- Support day-to-day HR operations and team coordination activities.
- Facilitate communication between management and staff to enhance team engagement.
- Assist in recruitment onboarding and employee relations to maintain a productive workforce.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings screening candidates and scheduling interviews.
- Manage onboarding processes to ensure a smooth integration of new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies.
- Support payroll and benefits administration in collaboration with external providers.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and assist in resolving workplace issues.
- Organize team meetings training sessions and company events to promote engagement and development.
- Assist in monitoring compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
- Prepare HR reports and assist management with workforce planning and analysis.
Qualifications and amp; Skills
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in HR coordination team support or administrative roles.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Familiarity with HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best HR practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
