We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated entry-level credit specialist individual to join our credit team. This role is responsible for supporting credit evaluations monitor customer accounts and assisting with collections analysis and activities. The ideal candidate is analytical organized and eager to build a career in credit. The position reports to the credit manager and will provide support to a team of 5 credit personnel with the intent to have this person learn and grow into a full time credit specialist with customer facing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support credit team on
Running credit reports
Providing invoices and proof of delivery to customers
Helping administrate accounts that are inactive or in need of updates
Help with spreadsheets of billings payments other information for the credit team and customers.
As the person gains experience they will be included in
Follow-up with customers regarding outstanding balances
Support collections efforts and document communications
Assist in resolving billing discrepancies and disputes
Ensure compliance with company credit policies and procedures
Education and Experience
Associates or Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business Administration or related field (or currently pursuing degree)
0-2 years of experience in finance accounting banking or customer service
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially excel)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Skills and Competencies
Problem-solving mindset
Ability to handle confidential information
Time management
Team-oriented with a customer service focus
